Mycotoxins are secondary products of many fungi. Fungi grow on feed ingredients at all stages from agriculture through post-harvest and storage. MAX BENDIX has high binding capacity due to its large specific surface area. It is a purified bentonite with high irreversible binding capacity for mycotoxins, making strong deactivation of a wide range of mycotoxins including Aflatoxins, Ochratoxins, and Zearalenone. It adsorbs and deactivates different mycotoxins, limiting economic losses. MAX BENDIX has low affinity for vital feed elements (vitamins and minerals) so it does not adsorb important nutritional components. It has high stability over a broad range of temperature and pH.
