Description
MAX T5 provides excellent antimicrobial efficacy against bacteria, fungi, and certain viruses. It works by disrupting microbial cell membranes, leading to cell death. As a cationic surfactant, it has strong binding to negatively charged microbial surfaces, is effective at low concentrations, is stable in liquid formulations, and is compatible with many surfactants and cleaning agents. Applications include: surface sprays and multipurpose cleaners, bathroom and kitchen disinfectants, air-freshening disinfectant solutions, sanitisers for food-contact surfaces, dairy and beverage industry cleaning products, disinfection of equipment and production facilities, hand sanitisers (non-alcohol formulations), antibacterial wet wipes, skin disinfectant sprays, disinfectants for animal housing and veterinary tools, water treatment for livestock facilities, plant disease control sprays, antimicrobial treatment of fabrics, and protection against mould and odour in leather goods.
